Spreading the joy of chess to the world.

OUR MISSION
Every decision matters - in real life and on the chess board. Through free high-quality chess lessons to students across India, U.S and Malawi, we make chess accessible to all. Our program unites players from under-resourced communities across the world and ecnourages them to think critically and make connections through chess. If members of your community want to learn chess and struggle to find the resources to help them, please contact us.

Our Teaching Approach

We begin by teaching the aim of chess and the rules of the game.

Then we describe essential thinking processes in the opening and middle game - the importance of developing pieces, power squares, and positional play.

At the end of the semester we host a tournament, funded by the directors of the Dzaleka refugee camp, to celebrate our learning and accomplishments.
